Never Wear Dress Shoes Again!

Never Wear Dress Shoes Again!

cap toe and wing tip dress sneakers

This fall we're excited to release more shoes that achieve the perfect balance between dress and casual. We have created a variety of sneakers that look like a dress shoes so you can quite literally "sneak" into your next board meeting in comfort.

Last fall we released the original Sneaker Disguised As A Dress Shoe with tremendous success and were convinced that men around the world need a sneaker they can wear incognito with a suit.

Our new additions to the Windsor Collection include a no-nonsense cap toe oxford, a versatile wingtip, a  sleek chelsea boot, and a no-fuss loafer These new styles still embody the elements that made our original Sneaker Disguised As A Dress Shoe so popular:

  • Ideal for work and play: Imagine wearing a sneaker to work and looking professional. Now you can have dress shoe style without dress shoe discomfort.
  • Travel Lightly: Taking a trip for business with a side of pleasure? No need to pack 2 pairs of shoes when 1 one will cover both bases.
  • Orthotic Friendly: Our full length removable outsole is perfect for those who require orthotics in their work shoes.

Let's take a minute to meet the new members of our dress sneaker family.

The Oxford:

The quintessential business shoe, The Cap Toe Oxford has long been the most formal shoe to wear with a suit. We've adapted this classic into sneaker form to give you that powerful boardroom style without the aches and pains of traditional dress shoes.

The Wing Tip:

We've all seen wing tip sneakers before, but none strike that perfect balance between classic and modern quite like this. Featuring our signature tapered toe and low profile sole the Windsor Wing Tip is the perfect replacement for that stiff pair of brogues sitting at the back of your closet.

The Chelsea Boot:

While a Chelsea boot with a sneaker sole has been done before, they all have a rounded blunt toe and white sole that makes them too casual to wear in a professional environment. Our new boot features a sleek tapered toe that goes as perfectly with your suit as it does with your favourite pair of jeans. Added plus, no laces.

The Loafer:

If you're a frequent traveller, our loafer will quickly become your new best friend. This laceless addition to our collection effortlessly slips on and off - perfect for easing your transition through security. The same tapered toe makes this shoe business friendly while the sneaker sole affords you maximum comfort while you sneak in some sightseeing.

Be sure to join our mailing list to be in the know when these new styles launch!

patent leather sneakers for a tuxedo

The Big Day is drawing near. Everything is almost ready to go. Venue booked, flowers ordered, rings safely stashed and your tux is ready. The only thing left on the list is your shoes.

tuxedo sneakersThis exact predicament is why we created a special version of the Windsor sneaker in patent leather. Built with comfort in mind this shoe is essentially a sneaker disguised as a fancy dress shoe.

Imagine spending your entire wedding day looking GQ slick while wearing a pair of sneakers! What to do about the shoes? You need a good patent leather pair because you're going full tux. The only problem is that all the good ones are pretty pricey and none of them are that comfortable. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to be crying tears of pain while standing at the altar. Talk about starting off on the wrong foot! If you only you could get away with wearing a comfortable pair of sneakers...

Not looking for a patent shoe? No problem. The Windsor sneaker is available in other finishes as well. Need a simple yet classy black shoe that you can also use for work? The All Black Windsor is crafted from a supple napa leather and is the perfect workhorse shoe.

Want something a little lighter to go with your summer suits? This Cognac version of our dressy sneaker is a stunner with your mid- light grey and blue suits.

We know weddings are pricey so use coupon code PERFECTPAIR to get a 20% ($40) off any shoes from our Windsor collection - monk straps included!

Introducing A Monk Strap That Is Actually A Sneaker

Introducing A Monk Strap That Is Actually A Sneaker

February 08, 2017

When we set out to design sneakers that look like dress shoes, I eagerly awaited the day we would release a double monk strap sneaker. I've always had a soft spot for monk straps and, once upon a time, I even splurged on a pair of Ferragamo Tramezza double monks. They really are beautiful shoes but they also really kill my feet so they tend to gather dust at the back of my closet.

With the success of our Windsor sneaker launch via Kickstarter this past fall, it only made sense to add a double monk strap to the collection.  One that would hug your foot during your journey on the front lines of life. Something that would offer you ultimate comfort while at work, at play or at 10,000 feet.
Coming this spring, we are proud to release our Windsor Monk Strap sneaker. Using the same sleek silhouette of the Windsor lace up and inspired by those Tramezzas I mentioned earlier, we added a clean cap toe and, of course, monk straps.  For the upper we used a beautifully supple napa leather to create our most comfortable shoe yet.
The result is a sophisticated monk strap that will be your next great travel companion because it looks great with a suit but wears just like a sneaker.
Available in black, chocolate brown and oxblood we have all your wardrobe bases covered.  As a bonus, use discount code MONKSDREAM to get $30 off a pair of our ultimate double monk strap sneakers.

The Art of Packing Light

The Art of Packing Light

September 20, 2016

Travelling can be cumbersome, especially when attempting to navigate your luggage through crowded airports, into taxis and along the streets of undiscovered cities.

Probably the best way to eliminate this stress is by limiting the amount of stuff you pack for your trip. After all, how many times have you unpacked a suitcase full of stuff you didn't even use while away? I know I've done it multiple times which is why I now limit myself to a single carry-on. A few disciplined choices while packing (only the essentials) will make your trip immensely easier, not to mention more efficient as you don't have to spend your precious time waiting at the baggage carousel or, even worse, searching for luggage lost by the airline.

When it comes to shoes things get a little trickier because they take up valuable space and you often need more than 1 pair - especially if you're travelling for business. We're proud to say that our latest shoe solves this problem as it is essentially a dress shoe on a sneaker sole. This means you can easily wear it with a suit but it's also super comfortable and looks great with jeans. No longer do you need to worry about squeezing a pair of dress shoes into your carry on (or buying a pair while you're away) because our Windsor sneaker easily takes you from business to pleasure.

How To Keep Your Suede Shoes So Fresh And So Clean

How To Keep Your Suede Shoes So Fresh And So Clean

September 06, 2016

sand suede chelsea boot

We're big fans of suede here at NobleSole because they offer a wonderfully soft expression which complements clothing in a way completely different from leather. Unfortunately, suede has wrongly gained a reputation for being delicate and hard to care for.

The truth is, caring for your suede shoes is actually easier than giving your leathers ones the occasional polish. When it comes to suede, dust and dirt tends to stick to the surface and its a relatively simple fix. Pick up  a suede brush from any decent shoe store or cobbler and gently brush the shoe to remove the dirt - I find that even water marks can be removed with the brush because the action lifts the suede's nap.

If the stain is a little more engrained, gently rubbing the stain with a suede block/eraser (pictured below) will do the trick. If you find your shoe is a little discoloured in places, there are special suede care products that will freshen up the colour - you just have to be sure they are the same colour as your shoe. Generally, however, you can skip that step and finish up by spraying your shoes with a protector that will repel water. And just like that your suede is clean and protected!

The Sneaker Disguised As A Dress Shoe

The Sneaker Disguised As A Dress Shoe

dress sneaker black

This fall we're excited to release a shoe that achieves the perfect balance between dress and casual. We have created a sneaker that looks like a dress shoe but gives you sneaker comfort. In fact, when worn with a suit, most people won't even notice you're not wearing dress shoes. And because it's a sneaker, it goes perfectly with your casual outfits.

To achieve this balance we took a dress shoe upper with a perforated medallion on the toe and placed it upon a sneaker sole. But not the typical sole that every sneaker brand is using at the moment. Instead we chose a sole with a slightly tapered toe to mirror the silhouette of an elegant dress shoe - giving you dress shoe style without dress shoe discomfort.

If you've been looking for a sneaker that can actually take you from business to pleasure stay tuned because pre-orders are launching soon on Kickstarter.
